After the large fire that followed the explosion at an acetone plant run by 3VSigma di Porto Marghera fish are dying in the canal that is closest to the business from which the tower of black some arose. To put out the furious blaze fire crews had to use thousands and thousands of cubic meters of water and foam flame retardant, which obviously ended up in the water along with the solvents and acetone from the plant.
